A welcome return to using the now vintage Tama drums for certain shows

My original Tama Royalstar/Imperialstar drums are currently undergoing restoration and will now be used for selected events in the future.

The kit was stolen a few years ago, and was recently spotted for sale on a drum website before being returned.

The kit was bought new in 1979, and had been used for all recorded work and live UK and European shows with Mournblade and Medicine Hat until 2011.

The kit was then ‘retired’ as I had invested in my current vintage Slingerland drums.

Many thanks to Rubix Drums in helping with the kit recovery process.

A very welcome return to live performance

It’s great to be back working in the live environment once again after nearly 2 years away…

…I will be working with Buster Shuffle, Motorheadache, former Angel Witch bassist Kevin Riddles and his Baphomet project, as well as having fun with local covers band Firehorse.

I head into the studio soon to record a 4 track EP with Satan’s Empire as well as planning another solo venture…
